Actors in the cultural space between Japan and Europe.

7.30 pm
Get together

Curator Michael Hirschbichler and Villa Kamogawa director Enzio Wetzel talk about the two formats of the online and offline exhibition, about the objects and the connecting texts. The publisher Bernhard Elias and the graphic artists Ferdinand Ulrich and Toshiya Isumo present the Japanese-German catalogue. It was published to accompany the exhibition by Wasmuth & Zohlen in Berlin.

The World Café will ask actors and mediators about problems and issues in the cultural exchange between Japan and Germany, and the subsequent meeting will offer the opportunity to get to know former residents and current “not-yet” scholarship holders of the year 2022.
